So today was my last day at America's Test Kitchen. In a way I was really glad because that meant that I was going back to Nashville soon. Then I was also sad because going back to Nashville meant going to school. Bummer. So on my last day, I made 3 different batches of brown sugar cookies at the same time, and in 3 different bowls. Since I have only watched these been made before, I didn't know how complicated it would actually be. Also considering that I couldn't use knives or fire, it made things much harder. Besides unloading the groceries, I worked on these cookies until 1:30 this afternoon. While making the cookies Lisa came to me and informed me that because of my excellent work while interning, I could pick out any cookbook that Cook's Illustrated or Cook's Country had published. I decided to pick out "Baking Illustrated" and was eternally grateful. Then once finishing those, I went up to the extra storage floor and help move some of the testing equipment. After that it was about time for me to leave. So I said my good-bye's packed my things and went to my bus stop. I am SOO excited not to travel via bus anymore. It took so long to get nowhere and made you feel so dirty. Brace yourself because Nashville here I come.
This is my favorite boston quote of all time :
